This privacy policy describes how Dagplanner ("the App", "we", "us") handles your data when you use our services. We place great value on protecting your privacy and handle personal data with care.


1. What data do we process

Dagplanner uses the following Google services to function:

In addition to Google services, Dagplanner also uses Firebase (Google) for the following functionality:

Via Firebase, only the shopping list items and associated usernames required for collaboration are stored. Firebase is a service of Google LLC and is subject to the Firebase privacy policy.


In addition, we may process the following data:


  • Your Google account details (name and email address) for authentication
  • Data you enter yourself in the App (tasks, notes, settings)


2. How we use your data

We use your data exclusively for the following purposes:


  • Operating the App and its core features
  • Synchronising data between Google services and the App
  • Improving the user experience


We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.


3. Storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard security measures. Google access tokens are stored in encrypted form and are used exclusively to communicate with Google services on your behalf.


4. Sharing with third parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except when:


  • Required by law
  • Necessary for the operation of the service (e.g. communication with Google APIs)


5. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:


  • Access: you can request which data we hold about you
  • Rectification: you can have incorrect data corrected
  • Erasure: you can request that all your data be deleted
  • Withdrawal of consent: you can revoke your Google connection at any time via your Google account settings


6. Google API Services User Data Policy

The use of data received through Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.


This means we:


  • Only request data that is necessary for the functionality of the App
  • Do not transfer data to third parties, except where necessary for the operation of the App
  • Do not use data for advertising purposes
  • Do not use data for profiling or credit scoring


7. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. Significant changes will be communicated via the App. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
